Mesa Desert Couples Session

These high school sweethearts have such sweet and giving hearts that this session didn’t nearly last long enough! I just wanted to keep spending time with them and getting to know them better. Austin is a preacher for a local church and when Aly isn’t assisting at the church, she’s a portrait and wedding photographer herself! And if you didn’t know she was a fellow photographer, it is obvious by their outfits… she knows exactly what looks good on camera and they came dressed to the nines in perfectly paired attire (also have to give a huge shoutout to the style guide I send out before each session for all the tips and tricks that makes everyone look their best)!

If you saw my Instagram stories while I was prepping for this session, you know that I tried my hand in floral arranging. I bought these flowers from Trader Joes and made the bouquet myself and oh, boy did it give me a newfound respect for florists. IT’S HARD! These flowers are obviously not perfect, but I definitely think they added something so beautiful to the styling of the session & the golden light couldn’t have agreed more with the flawless dessert this night!
