Superstition Mountains Engagement Session
When Tammy first came across Caleb’s profile on OkCupid, she thought he must be out of her league so she decided not to message him. The very next day, he sent HER a message expressing interest and asking if she wanted to meet up.
Their first date is easy to remember since it was April Fools Day! This is when NBA March Madness came to Phoenix in 2017 so there were tons of free events and concerts to go to and they decided to go to a Chain Smokers concert. Tammy describes Caleb as pretty shy on that date, so she was nervous, but when they got home that night, he texted her and opened up about what a great time he had. So, they ended up going out to another concert the next night because they had so much fun.
Together, they’ve been so adventurous ever since. Their second official date was waking up at 5 am, driving out to the middle of the desert and skydiving! Tammy was beaming when she shared that she’s never had such an adventurous boyfriend before.
The two fell in love and Caleb decided he was going to propose. He actually started to propose a couple of times before his nerves stopped him, but then the perfect moment arose. They went to Prescott to party with Tammy’s family for the 4th of July, followed by the two of them deciding to go to Flagstaff together for a hike. There was only one other family around, so Caleb asked Tammy to find someone to take a picture of them. While the camera is on them, he got down on one knee and proposed on Humphrey’s Peak, surrounded by mountains. I can’t think of a more romantic place to get engaged, and he even managed to get the moment captured on camera!
It was so much fun to spend some time with these two at their engagement session. They both came dressed to the nines, making me even more excited to see what’s in store for October. I hope you enjoy this beautiful session as much as I do!
