Super Bowl Sunday Proposal

Kasey was drawn to David’s Bumble profile after seeing a picture of him with his kids. She thought that it was so cute to see and loved that he was upfront about being family-oriented – just what she was looking for. They even had sons about the same age! She decided to swipe right and make her move on that famous BOOM! screen. She sent him a message and they have been inseparable ever since that first date.

Fast forward two years and David was planning the moment he would ask Kasey to marry him. When Kasey went out of town for a few days, David used this moment as his opportunity to get ready and went to talk to her parents. With their blessing, he joined forces with a woman who could help pull off a seamless proposal – her best friend Janelle.

It’s on every girl’s dream proposal list to have a perfect manicure when the time comes to add some fresh bling to her left hand, but the struggle is knowing when to get the manicure without knowing the proposal is coming. Luckily, Kasey and Janelle have an annual tradition where they go out to get their nails done on their birthdays (I love this idea, btw). So, because they always do this, Kasey wasn’t expecting a thing when Super Bowl Sunday rolled around.

The couple decided to host a party and invite all their friends over to watch the game. Little did she know everyone was in on a little secret. David proposed during the party, surrounded by their friends and she was absolutely shocked!

I’m so happy she agreed to marry him because the connection between these two is unmatched. We had so much fun finding our way through the desert during their engagement session. And guys, if you didn’t know, the name on the back of Kasey’s jersey, is about to be her new last name! It’s all in the details…
