Rooftop Wedding At The Clarendon Hotel

In a small brick room at St. Helen’s, tucked away from the guests that would soon be arriving, Ava helped her mom slip into a sparkling wedding gown and carefully buttoned up the back. She had helped her mom pick out this special dress in hopes that one day she, too, would be able to wear it on her walk down the aisle. The girls shared a moment to themselves, ready to embrace this new chapter in their lives.

The history of the venue was rich – Serena’s soon-to-be groom, Joe, had grown up coming to this church, making it the perfect place to vow his love to Serena.

As the guests stood in the pews, Serena and her son, Keelan, appeared in the doorway with their arms linked. She locked eyes with Joe, who couldn’t take his eyes off her from that moment on, and her son led her up the aisle and shook Joe’s hand.

After a beautiful ceremony, the couple made their way to the Clarendon Hotel & Spa, where they would celebrate the evening with their closest friends and family. Their reception took place on the rooftop with a sweeping view of the city.

Following traditional Southwestern cuisine from the hotel’s restaurant, Andy Grammar played through the speakers and Serena & Joe shared their first dance overlooking the lights of the city.

Keelan and Ava both gave toasts honoring the couple and the important role Joe has played in their lives as they officially welcomed him into the family. There may have even been a tear or two as they were so excited to see their mom this happy.

Serena & Joe, congratulations again on your beautiful wedding day. Each element felt so timeless and true to you. I’m so touched to know your story and wish you both all the happiness in the world.
