Playful Queen Creek Engagement Session
Sarah and Corbin’s story began when she was just 14, a freshman in high school, and he was a sophomore. Corbin was friends with Sarah’s sister, Hannah, and their connection grew over the years. It wasn’t until Sarah was a senior and Corbin was in college that they realized they had feelings for each other. Despite this, Sarah wasn’t ready for a boyfriend in high school, so they waited. That patience paid off—three years later, they’ve built a beautiful relationship.
Corbin’s proposal was as heartfelt as their love story. During a relaxing getaway at his family’s cabin in Strawberry, AZ, Corbin’s mom suggested they surprise him with a birthday dinner, prompting Sarah to get dressed up. Little did she know, the real surprise was for her. Corbin drove her to one of their favorite mountain spots before dinner. Though he seemed nervous, Sarah assumed he was worried about being late. At the summit, he got down on one knee and proposed, completely catching her off guard.
The surprises didn’t end there. Sarah’s family had secretly traveled to join them for the occasion. After she said yes, Corbin asked if she’d like her family to come up the mountain to celebrate—a perfect ending to an unforgettable moment.
Their engagement session was the perfect reflection of their journey—romantic, personal, and full of love. Sarah and Corbin envisioned trees, grassy fields and greenery (not easy to come by in Arizona), but we found the perfect location to make Sarah’s engagement dreams come true.
Sarah and Corbin, it’s been incredible to capture this special chapter of your lives, and I can’t wait to celebrate your wedding with you in just a few months!
