Papago Park Engagement Session with Champagne Finale

After meeting on Plenty of Fish, Julie and Cordero went on their first date to Starbucks, where they hit it off right away. Once the drinks were finished, they didn’t want the date to end, so they decided to go out for sushi that same day, so they could keep spending time with one another.

Things went so well that several months later, Cordero decided to start designing a ring. Julie helped out with a couple of shapes that she liked, but he gets all the credit for picking the diamond and designing the ring.

With the perfect ring in hand, Cordero was ready to propose. He chose their favorite restaurant, Postino, to pop the question. Even though they live in Mesa, he took her to the location at Kierland because it had a better patio – so thoughtful! When Julie finally did see the finished ring, she was floored. It was better than she ever imagined, and Cordero said getting his boat would have to wait a little longer.
