McDowell Mountain Golf Club Wedding
Michelle’s mom helped her button up her dress, her dad secured her necklace and just minutes later, Patrick saw Michelle for the first time in her gorgeous white dress. She walked up behind him, tapped him on the shoulder, and when he turned around, his face said it all. Pat was in absolute shock and awe. And rightfully so, Michelle looked incredible in her floor-length tulle gown (and the lace detailing… wow)!
Pat & Michelle had already gotten married in Hong Kong, having a traditional ceremony with Michelle’s family and grandparents, so now it was time to celebrate with their friends and family in Arizona, where Pat is originally from. After taking some photos with their bridal party and families, they had a beautiful ceremony on the lawn overlooking the McDowell Mountain range.
After some bride & groom portraits, Michelle & Pat were celebrated in style, complete with a packed dance floor and lemon drop shots. During the toasts, Michelle’s friends in Hong Kong had even recorded a speech for them. It was so special to have her friends with her, even from afar.
Since the couple got engaged in Italy (read more about that story here), they opted for an Italian dessert table of tiramisu and cannolis galore. This was a hit with all of the guests and a fun alternative to the traditional wedding cake. A sparkler exit was the perfect way to send these newlyweds off.
Michelle & Pat, congratulations!! It was such a pleasure to be a part of your American wedding day. I know these memories are some of the most special in the world to you and I feel so grateful I got to capture them. Being the world travelers that you are, I can only imagine you’re planning something amazing for your honeymoon. Bon Voyage!
