Magical Sedona Engagement Session

Angel and Amanda met at a mutual friend’s birthday party and hit it off right away. They sat at the bar together and couldn’t stop talking all night. There was an instant attraction there, but they didn’t meet again until about a year later. Amanda’s roommate played in Angel’s rec softball league and the two reconnected after a game. They stayed and chatted and didn’t stop laughing for 4 hours straight. The couple has been inseparable ever since.

In March of 2021, Angel and Amanda decided to take a leap of faith and move from Chicago to Arizona. Right before Thanksgiving, Angel booked a hot air balloon ride over the desert, where he got down on one knee and proposed. They shared that tears of joy and disbelief were instantly shed, Amanda said yes, and then they got to cuddle and enjoy seeing Arizona from the air. In Angel’s words, “Love was quite literally in the air!” The air balloon ride was followed by dinner at L’Amore to round out a perfect day.

They decided they wanted to have their engagements done in Sedona to give their friends and family back home in Chicago a taste of the incredible AZ views they’re going to get to see when they come out for the wedding. We chose a park with views of the iconic Cathedral Rock and had so much fun catching up and getting excited for their special day.

I had such a great time hanging out with you both and documenting this special stage in your relationship. It’s one of my favorite sessions to date! Now, I’m counting down the days until we get you both in front of the camera again.
