Dancer’s Dream Wedding

Dec 23, 2019

This bride and groom had a special connection to their Mesa, AZ wedding venue, making it the most meaningful location out there for them to get married. Based on the gorgeous white exteriors and interiors of the venue, Lindsay Grove stops hearts all on its own, but when Alex and Brandi’s history to the location comes into play, it made for a special day I would not soon forget.

Beyond getting married here, Alex and Brandi actually started dating at this very location back when it was a line dancing venue called Leather and Old Lace. That’s right, these high school flames rekindled their romance when they started going line dancing together every week. It’s unclear whether a passion developed for the dancing itself or for each other, but after just a couple of dates, Alex decided that he wasn’t going to stop bringing her to dance lessons anytime soon. Fast forward a few years and when it came time to pick a wedding venue for the two to tie the know, it was only right that they chose the very place they spent falling in love all those evenings.

So, what do you get when you have two (pretty much) professional dancers and you task them with coordinating their first dance? The first dance that first-dance-dreams are made of. There was spinning, dipping, and moves I don’t think my two left feet are even legally allowed to know exist.

Beyond the dancing, it was such a joy to watch Alex and Brandi interact with each other on their wedding day. Alex has such a goofy personality and was always teasing Brandi and their families. Brandi was so mind-blowingly gorgeous, Alex almost went into shock during their first look. Their playful personalities made working with them all day so incredibly fun.

Alex and Brandi, I am so happy for the two of you. You are the perfect match for one another and that was so clear to anyone present on your wedding day. I am so beyond happy I got to be there to witness this special moment for you. No one deserved this day more than you, congratulations!
