Intimate Spring Golf Course Wedding

Mar 29, 2022

Danielle and Nate’s story began at the same place they are beginning the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife – at Grayhawk Country Club. The couple was both working at Grayhawk when they met, and even though their journey took some time until they got to be together, they’ve been inseparable ever since. The venue will always be very special to them, you can check out the full story of how they met here.

We started the wedding day with a first look at Isabella’s, right across the street from their venue. This is the exact location they met for the first time, making it the perfect place for another first. As you can imagine, Nate was rightfully impressed with how gorgeous Danielle was – this was the moment he had been looking forward to most.

Between the first look and a round of lemon drops, the nerves were eased and it was time for the ceremony to take place with an intimate group of family members and close friends. With the lake as a backdrop, one of the couple’s best friends officiated the small, perfect ceremony.

Because of Danielle and Nate’s rich history at Grayhawk, they knew the best little hidden location for portraits. Bright yellow flowers surrounded them on the lush, green grass and it was perfect. Photographing them somewhere with such a special part of their hearts was so meaningful.

The reception that followed was simply beautiful. Danielle and Nate went with a black and white/classic and timeless theme that will stand the test of time. The newlyweds were so attentive to each of their guests and focused on their experience. They wanted to make sure everyone had some quality time with them, but also to know how much they were appreciated for celebrating with them. As guests came in, the patio was perfectly timed for a gorgeous sunset with sweeping views. The minimalist decor added to the ambiance.

After a welcome toast by the bride and groom, dinner was served followed by cake and an open dance floor. When I say these guests blew the roof off Lady Marmalade, it’s an understatement. It was great to witness a group so excited about the couple’s new marriage.

Danielle and Nate, it was so fun to be a part of such a special day with such a close-knit, intimate group of people. Your love for each other and others shone through each part of your wedding and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. Thank you again for sharing such wonderful memories!
