Indian School Engagement Session
Road trips are one of my favorite things. You know the ones… Riding in the car with people you love, when your favorite song comes on and everyone’s singing along when you turn it up loud. The ocean is on your left and the saltwater air comes flooding through the window and blows your hair around. Ah, that’s the best kind of feeling.
Hannah and Brian were making one of these very road trips up the entire west coast. There were no reservations or schedules, and they were able to meet up with friends at different locations as they drove. On the very first day, their goal was to make it to the beautiful Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada mountains. They arrived around five in the evening and decided they had time to squeeze in a short little hike.
This sweet couple has a tradition of taking a photo on a self-timer whenever they’re somewhere cool and today was no different. They propped up a phone and set the timer, but not for long enough. The camera went off and Brian was still running back to get in position. So, he ran back and set it again. This time was a success, but after the photo, Hannah looked over to see why Brian wasn’t right next to her. As she turned, she saw that he was down on one knee.
This proposal was eight years in the making and Hannah finally said yes! Who would have ever thought the day Hannah met her freshman RA at ASU, she was meeting her future husband??
They got to continue the rest of their trip engaged as they drove all the way up the coast to Seattle. I’m sure it was so fun to share the news and show off her brand new ring at each stop they made as they met up with different friends.
Hannah and Brian, I could not be more excited to be a part of your day at Shermer Art Center in October! Between your creativity, passion and fun I am so excited to see what you have in store!
