Golden Hour Anniversary Picnic
I have to give a lot of props from these photos to the golden hour lighting. Shooting during sunset gave the photos that creamy, dreamy, warm look that you just can’t fake. Working with this husband and wife duo was so easy, and posing them was a dream! They are natural models and would find comfy poses because they are naturally drawn to one another.
We started out the evening with a table setup by the one and only @materialgirlwedding. It was a gorgeous display of burgundy plates on a perfect wood table. There was a large display of flowers spanning over the table that contributed shades of pink to create the perfect color scheme. We setup near this tree branch that made the perfect bench for our toasting couple. They cheers-ed, laughed, talked, and sipped their drinks. It felt like I was looking in on them having the most romantic a picnic at the park… like they were in their own world and I was an outsider there to capture the memories so they can always look back on their romantic evening at the park as the sun is setting, surrounded by flowers and pretty place settings.
Although these photos could be passed off as wedding portraits, they are actually already married! Our pretty “bride”, Veronica, runs a business called Dessertfirstbyveronica where she creates the most beautiful, ornate cakes with a moody flair. Her cakes are a great representation of her style as you can see her cute hat and boots are a dramatic and unique take on bridal style that I just love!!
