Glowy Sunset Engagement Session
As a busy business owner, Brian didn’t feel like he had time to meet people. He turned to Bumbl and finally met Heather. Heather says she doesn’t remember what her first message to Brian said, but she knows it was probably a joke. And who knew they would have so much in common – in fact, they grew up about 3 miles apart, but had never met!
The couple went on their first date to Pita Jungle, then to see a scary movie. Heather was hoping Brian would snuggle her during the scary parts, but he was a gentleman and didn’t try.
After dating for about 4 years, they started talking about getting married. Heather was convinced that Brian wouldn’t be able to surprise her since she knows him so well, but he was determined. The day before her birthday, Brian told Heather that his parents wanted to make her dinner. While she had the idea of a proposal in the back of her mind, his family did a good job of not being suspicious. Brian’s dad eventually said he’d like to show her something he was working on in the backyard. When she walked outside, she saw the big light-up letters saying “Marry Me” Brian had set up and her family was there.
Heather says as soon as she saw her dad, she knew what was happening. But she had been surprised (mission accomplished, Brian!).
Heather & Brian, I can’t believe your wedding is still about a year away. It was such a blast hanging out with you both, I hope I can make it that long without you in front of my camera. Thank you for being such a joy to work with!
