Fall Mini Sessions 2018

Nov 13, 2018

Three mini sessions, one day, one sunset, and we made it happen. I could not have asked for a better trio of families for my fall mini sessions. All three had their own personalities, style, and flair to bring to the table.

Amber and Mike: What you can’t see is behind the scenes the most adorable little girls are playing with my husband. They drew sticks and snakes in the dirt (I think they’re onto something), practiced taking their own photos, and literally skipped around as mommy and daddy had an intimate couple’s session. These two pose and model like a dream. They are so sweet, and I just adore the way they look at each other. Sometimes it’s nice to hand the kids off to someone else and just look into each other’s eyes for a few minutes and realize what it’s all about (it doesn’t hurt if you get some pretty photos in the mean time).

Agnew Family: Just the sweetest four. Mason was sooooo well behaved and had the absolute sweetest smile he wore throughout the whole session (he did have a good incentive, I would smile that cutely for ice cream, after all). Baby Brodi also put his best foot forward, looking at the camera, even if it was just to let us know the sounds we were making were ridiculous). Plus, did you notice all the guys wearing their cowboy boots?! It doesn’t get more adorable. Towards the end, I loved breaking Melissa and Shelby away for a couple sweet portraits of them as well. I hope these are moments they’re able to cherish forever.

Tanigawa Family: These four made it easy to end on a high note. They came dressed to impress (thank you, style guide + Lulu’s) and we became instant friends. Lily does dance and cheer for her school, but I find it hard to believe that she doesn’t do modeling because, well, just look at her. Baby Paisley was just waking up and was so snuggly to mom and dad. This made it so easy to get sweet snuggly photos of her with her parents. In the days since this session, Denise who owns a hair salon has started doing my own hair!! This is just one of the reasons I love my job… I get to meet the best people who become close friends and a part of my life in the best way possible. I consider these minis a smashing success!
