Elegant Litchfield Park Wedding

Hannah is from Ohio, TJ is from Chicago and their story began when they both moved to Arizona to teach at the same school. He would teach PE, and she would teach Kindergarten.

Much to their student’s delight, the two teachers soon fell in love. After some time together, Hannah decided to go with TJ on his family’s vacation in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. On the last day of vacation, he proposed to her, alone on the beach. There is nothing more romantic than the sound of the waves rolling in, the smell of the salty air, and your significant other by your side, but it didn’t stop there. Without Hannah knowing, TJ had flown her family in to surprise her and they were waiting inside the house to celebrate their brand new engagement.

Before revealing her surprise engagement party, TJ slid the most beautiful engagement ring on her finger. The diamond had been his grandmother’s diamond that he had set in a band just for her.

When Hannah started planning the wedding, the first two decisions she made were picking out her dress and hiring the Lucky Devils Band. She had been to a wedding with a live band and just knew she needed one at her wedding to keep the guests on the dance floor all night. (I just want to add here that she did a great job in both the dress and the band categories.)

Their party was nothing short of incredible. After a romantic ceremony, the guests were lead to one of the Wigwam’s beautiful private courtyards where they enjoyed cocktail hour with the couple’s surprise guest – Corona, the cutest little beer burro. Let’s just say the kiddos in the bridal party never let the smiles leave their faces.

We laughed and cried with the most thoughtful toasts, we danced under the stars, and we celebrated the sweet newlyweds. Congratulations, Hannah and TJ. It was such an honor to be a part of such a thoughtful, curated wedding day. I absolutely LOVED every piece of your wedding and it will always be one of my favorite days. Now go enjoy that beautiful honeymoon in Mexico!!
