Elegant Garden Party Wedding
Julie and Cordero’s ceremony was light and funny, officiated by Julie’s aunt. She kept guests giggling the whole time and even used the word “booty” several times. Julie started her vows with a little song, sharing how excited she was to be there with Cordero and he danced along beside her. It’s safe to say the ceremony delivered the light, happy vibe Julie and Cordero were aiming for.
After Julie and Cordero said their vows and kissed, they were pronounced husband and wife and together released balloons, symbolizing their new journey. This leads to the most iconic moment of their day: the walk back up the aisle. They joined hands and walked side by side as guests cheered and blew bubbles for them. A live mariachi band played music and the couple had massive smiles on their faces that wouldn’t leave for the rest of the day.
During the cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony, we snuck Julie and Cordero away and around Secret Garden for some portraits as husband and wife (I can’t wait for you to see below), while the guests were treated to six different appetizers as the mariachi band played and sang.
The outdoor reception space greeted guests with elegant table setups and gorgeous flower displays. Julie chose roses and peonies since they symbolize love and forever and she wanted to show off that forever kind of love she shares with Cordero. She achieved the classy and elegant dream she had for her and Cordero’s wedding day.
After dinner, the reception started with some toasts and the shoe game before guests began dancing the night away. The evening was filled with laughter, traditions, and a slice or two of cake. The couple ended the night with a private last dance inside the venue while guests waited outside with glow sticks. After the dance, they ran through and were sent off with a glow stick exit for the ages.
Julie and Cordero, I can’t picture a more perfect day for the two of you if I tried. Between the traditions, the vows, the laughter, and the support you were surrounded with, it’s clear how loved you are. I had so much fun celebrating with you and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for you. Thank you again for your trust in me.
