A Sentimental Spring Wedding at The Willow

From the moment Ashley and Dominic stepped into The Willow, Ashley knew—it was the place. She turned to Dominic and said, “We are getting married here,” and just like that, the decision was made.

Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of their love for each other and their families. Having photographed Dominic’s aunt’s wedding a few years ago, I had been looking forward to celebrating with their family again, and this day did not disappoint.

One of the most heartfelt touches of the ceremony was that Ashley’s grandpa, Dave, officiated. It was incredibly special to see the love and wisdom he shared as they exchanged their vows. And if that wasn’t sweet enough, all of their grandmas had the honor of being their flower girls! It was such a fun and sentimental way to include them in their day. As Ashley walked down the aisle, a string quartet played, setting the most romantic tone. Standing by her side were her bridesmaids, dressed in blue, making them her perfect “something blue.”

One thing that stood out to me was just how well their families blended together. It wasn’t just two people joining in marriage—it felt like two families becoming one. Everyone danced together all night long, and the energy on the dance floor was contagious.

And then there was the taco truck. After their stunning sparkler exit, Ashley and Dominic were surprised with the ultimate late-night snack—fresh tacos for all their guests to enjoy. It was the perfect way to end the night, and from the reactions, I’d say it was a major hit!
