A Modern Arizona Desert Wedding

Caitlyn and Rocco’s wedding at the Paseo was a celebration of love, family, and fun. From the moment they arrived at the venue to the last dance of the night, every detail was carefully planned and executed to create the perfect day.

As they got ready, Caitlyn and Rocco exchanged heartfelt letters and gifts. Caitlyn surprised Rocco with a tie clip engraved with their wedding date and a special message from his dad, while Rocco gifted Caitlyn a Louis Vuitton purse for her new initials to be engraved on it.

The first looks were so fun, with Caitlyn wow-ing her bridesmaids, her dad, and finally Rocco. First, her bridesmaids cheered and jumped up and down seeing her all ready for the first time. After a big group hug, she went to surprise her dad, which was one of the most emotional moments of the day. Seeing his face light up with pride and love as he saw Caitlyn in her wedding dress left us all dabbing tears from our eyes.

Finally, Caitlyn did a first look with Rocco, which was the most anticipated moment of all. As he turned around and saw Caitlyn for the first time, Rocco was completely blown away (rightfully so). The look on his face says it all. After all the nerves were out of the way and Caitlyn and Rocco got to spend some quality time together, it was time for them to get married!

The couple had chosen the Paseo for its stunning desert and mountain views, which made for a breathtaking backdrop for their pictures and ceremony. When asked about it Caitlyn said, “We are obsessed with the Arizona desert & mountainscapes so when we saw the Paseo we knew it was the one. So much that it’s the only venue we toured and we waited 22 months for the first open Saturday available!”

The ceremony was officiated by Caitlyn’s dad, which made it even more special. Rocco walked their beloved dogs down the aisle and the couple read each other their own vows as a nod to the love notes they like to leave for each other.

After a beautiful ceremony, it was time to celebrate. When asked what they were most excited about for the wedding, they said “The party! A few of our favorite things are family + entertaining, so being able to have everyone come together and celebrate is what we are looking forward to the most! Rocco and I are one of the few guests who actually live in Arizona so it’s a destination wedding essentially and it will be nice having everyone in town at the same time!”

The party was everything the couple had hoped for, with signature drinks named after their dogs, a gelato cart from their favorite dessert spot, and a photo booth bus. The buzz buttons at the bar added an extra element of fun and surprise for guests. Enhancing taste buds when chewed on, these same dried flowers are served at the Cosmo in Las Vegas!

Caitlyn and Rocco wanted their guests to walk away raving about what a great time they had and I think they did exactly that. As the night went on, guests danced and celebrated outside until it was too cold, but the party didn’t stop there. The couple moved inside and kept the festivities going until it was time to share a private last dance and be sent off with streamers and a champagne pop.
