A Fall Wedding At Superstition Manor

Oct 20, 2020

Emily and Andrew stood facing each other, with the Superstition Mountains standing tall behind them – the perfect shade of purple. Emily’s dress fluttered behind her in the wind as she clutched her burgundy bouquet tight, securing the hidden Mickey pins in place, and gazed into her husband’s eyes. Her husband! They had just said ‘I do’ and after some photos with their families, this was the first quiet moment they got to share alone on their wedding day.

Emily and Andrew have a big, happy love that pulls you in and has you smiling by simply being around them. There is something so welcoming about the couple that has you feeling like they’re instantly your life-long friends. With that being said, their guests were excited and eager to be celebrating this love from the moment they arrived. Never have I seen a ceremony so full of laughter and joy from both the couple and their guests. Anthony Montana with Better Together Matrimonies officiated a heartfelt ceremony, filled with humor and excitement for Emily and Andrew to start their new journey together as husband and wife.

Knowing this couple, it makes perfect sense that they threw a joyous party with music and dancing with their closest friends and family and did not let COVID stop the celebration of their love. Emily’s dress wow-ed guests on the dance floor, fitted perfectly to her body as she waltzed around like a movie star with first Andrew, then her father.

When it was Andrew’s turn to bring his mother out on the dance floor, he had a little trick up his sleeve. Music started coming through the speakers and mom started walking towards him before the realization hit what was playing. She turned around and started heading back to her seat – it was a song he KNEW she could not stand. After a couple seconds and an eruption of laughter among guests who understood her disdain for the song, their real song came on and all was well.

While the couple’s personalities showed through every element of the day, they did not sacrifice elegance. Emily had every last detail executed perfectly at The Manor (her dream venue since day 1). Her colors of burgundy, navy and gold were thoughtfully arranged throughout the venue, which included a gorgeous cake and a candy table that was quite a temptation throughout the evening. With a late-night snack of grilled cheese sandwiches, the guests had the stamina to keep the dance floor going all night.

Emily and Andrew, you both simply the best. I still can’t believe what a wonderful celebration I was able to join you to photograph. I hope you both always feel all the happiness you give to others and of course, cherish this most special of days for the rest of your lives. Congratulations, my friends.
