A Day Of The Dead Wedding
As the doors to Bella Rose’s reception hall opened, the guests rose and cheered as Leanne and Mitchell came running into the room after being announced as husband and wife for the second time that day. Everyone was so excited for the two of them and ready to celebrate their new marriage.
Decor and details flooded the room as far as the eye could see and vibrant colors filled the space. On the far end of the room, a candy bar overflowed with pinks, yellows, oranges and blues. To the right, a three-tiered cake and on the opposite wall of the dance floor was the head table of all head tables.
You see, Leanne and Mitchell chose to honor their families and their grandparents with a Day of The Dead themed celebration. Having their families be a part of their wedding day was so important to them that it only made sense to prioritize having their ancestors there as well. After this grand entrance, they headed straight to the altar where they lit a candle for each of their relatives.
Following this beautiful moment, they had a surprise up their sleeves for their guests. As Leanne and Mitchell’s party began, they led their friends and family outside into the peaceful courtyard. As they stood there as husband and wife, holding each other’s hands tightly and facing the sky, fireworks erupted into the air. I can’t think of a more romantic way to kick off the party and the promises they had made to one another, just hours earlier. The show came to a close and as they returned inside, it was time for the parent dances.
Leanne clutched her grandmother’s heirloom ring that her mother had shared with her earlier that day, as her dad led her out onto the dance floor. Her shoes, donning a ’Til Death Do Us Part’ design, clicked on the dance floor as he twirled her around the room. The guests and bridal party circled the dance floor and by the time Mitchell finished a beautiful dance with his mom, there was not a dry eye in the entire venue.
The party was just getting started, though, and everyone packed onto the dance floor where they stayed all night long. Birkett Entertainment did a great job playing everyone’s favorite songs and they even had a performance with real fire going. I truly don’t think Leanne and Mitchell could have planned a more fun party or a more thoughtful day for their entire family.
Leanne and Mitchell, congratulations on your special day! I couldn’t even imagine a more perfect way to celebrate your marriage. I am so excited for the two of you and loved watching you become husband and wife!
