A Blush Camelback Mountain Wedding
The morning of her wedding, Kelly’s getting ready room had the perfect bridal vibe. The girls were all in matching robes, getting their hair and makeup done while sipping on champagne. You could feel the excitement and anticipation in the air. Once Kelly got into her dress, she did a first look with her bridesmaids and their reactions were everything. They were so supportive and excited for her.
Meanwhile in the guys suite at The Saguaro, they also decided to do a first look with the groom, Amir. And the photos that came of it are equally as fun – let’s just say squealing was involved (see below).
After Kelly and Amir were ready, it was time for their first look with each other. And Kelly is now my walking billboard for first looks. She said it was the best decision she’s ever made and completely calmed any nerves she had before seeing Amir. They exchanged gifts and enjoyed the private moment between the two of them.
The sun perfectly tucked behind a cloud as soon as the ceremony began, lending toward gorgeous, glow-y photos of Kelly and Amir saying their personal vows to one another. Each of them wrote their own and I’ve never seen an audience with so many tears in their eyes. Each vow was so meaningful and thoughtful. After their walk back up the aisle, the bridal party met inside the reception space to sign the marriage license and Kelly kept saying “I’m so happy! I feel so happy right now!”
The cocktail hour that followed was hosted on the lawn next to a light-up sign of their new last name, Saad. The guests drank custom cocktails, named Tucker’s Love Bite after their pup (who has a little habit of nibbling on your nose). So cute!
Their whole goal was to surprise their guests and make the wedding special for everyone and I’d say the reception did just that. There was a live band, a gelato cart surprise, and to top it all of a secret firework show. We invited all the guests onto the lawn for a group photo and when they were least expecting it, fireworks started exploding into the sky over the lake. It was so magical. Everyone was so excited to celebrate Kelly and Amir’s new marriage and danced to the live music all night. We even got to hear Amir’s drumming skills when he took a turn playing with the band to Bruno Mars “Locked Out of Heaven”. At the end of the evening, the couple was sent out in style with a fun sparkler exit.
Kelly and Amir, it was such a pleasure to be a small part of your big day. I truly believe you did all you set out to do to ensure your friends and family had a great time. It’s so clear to see how loved you are. Congratulations again!
