A Baseball Wedding

Lauren and Derek hit it out of the park, with this baseball-themed wedding. After their beautiful church ceremony, we headed up to Chase Field in a trolly(!!) for some bridal party shots and portraits. I love personalizing a couple’s portraits to their relationship, and this idea meant so much to the two of them.

For Lauren and Derek, their reception came with a lot of special moments for them and their families. To start, Lauren had a tribute dance in honor of her brother where she danced with the men that helped ‘brother’ her since his loss, and there was not one dry eye in the room. She even read a letter to him that was beyond special. During the mother and son dance, Derek and his mom sang You’ll Be In My Heart to each other, which might just have been the cutest thing ever.

Lauren and Derek, I hope you had the times of your life at your baseball them-er. I am so glad you tied the knot while being true to yourselves. Enjoy and unwind from all your big-day preparations in Jamiaca.
