10 Little Reminders For A Bride On Her Wedding Day

Oct 16, 2018

1. Let someone else handle the details. You have done all the planning, you no longer need to be the touch-person. Give out you maid of honor’s number to all your vendors and ask that she be reached instead of you for day-of questions. She’s always close by so she can refer the questions to you if she needs to!

2. Don’t worry about the little things. What? This is coming out of the detail-oriented photographer’s mouth?? Yes! There will inevitably be some little changes that have to be made on your wedding day. Don’t sweat ‘em. Is it really worth putting a sour taste in your mouth towards your wedding day? Nope. Just embrace it, your day will still be fabulous.

3. Incorporate extra time for hair and makeup, which sometimes takes a little more time than anticipated. You don’t want to be stressed about your timeline first thing in the morning.

4. Have your maid of honor keep some touchup makeup in her bag. She will be by your side and can help touch up your makeup throughout the day.

5. Enjoy the moment with your new husband. This is an exciting day for him, too. Don’t be too worried about the little things to spend some quality time saying “Can you believe we’re MARRIED?!” over and over to each other.

6. Be pleasant to all the guests, they probably traveled long distances to see you and be with you on your big day!

7. Don’t let number 5 keep you from focusing on your husband.

8. Eat. Is this over-emphasized? Yes. Is it still valuable advice? Yes. No one wants to be hangry on their wedding day!

9.Join your husband in a toast to thank your guests. See number 5 🙂

10. Relax. Have fun, sip some champagne, it’s your wedding day!
