Swaddled Twins Newborn Session

Because I know I can love and serve my couple clients best, I tend to shy away from newborn sessions, but I did have to make an exception for these sweet babies.

If you saw Katie’s maternity session, you already know that I have the cutest cousin who was expecting twins in March. Well, we got lucky and got them a couple months early! After a few weeks, they were able to come home from the hospital and be my little models for an afternoon.

Our newborn session took place between bottle feedings and naps (also during naps!), so our happy babies were at maximum sweetness. It was so fun watching the two of them as they are kind of starting to interact with one another… they’d accidentally hold hands or rest against each other, which of course just made us all say ‘awwww!’

Some of the photos show off their ‘beads of courage’. Each time they accomplished a milestone in the hospital, they were given a bead of courage, and they went home with a long chain of beads. Katie wanted to include them because it showed how far the babies come and they represent the milestones they have passed as a family.
