Farmer’s Field Winter Mini Session

Can I just take a second & talk about this sweet girl and the most amazing “mini session” we had? When we were out in MD this winter, I was lucky enough to have the chance to grab a few cute photos for my sister-in-law, Lacey, before she headed back to school in Hawaii for a couple months. (How can this girl be such a beach-lovin’ beauty when she looks so cute in winter clothes?!) My husband and I are so proud of her and so excited for all the adventures that lie ahead this next year as she plans to transfer to a school in Idaho to finish her degree.

My favorite things about Lacey:

1 How thoughtful and genuine she is. The first time I met her, she gave me the cutest pineapple Alex and Ani bracelet. Later I found out that she got it for herself but felt like I would love it so she decided to give it to me, and it’s still one of my favorites to this day!! She has a way of giving things that fit the giftee so well. (Another example is the surprise kitten she got her mom for Christmas this year… ) she is just so thoughtful and thinks of the cutest things!

2 Her love for adventure and life. I have been on many adventures with this girl, but my hands down favorite was our spur of the moment trip to Maui in 2017. We watched the sunrise above the clouds, drove the road to Hana, and had an absolute blast the entire time. I love all my spontaneous adventures with Lacey.

3 She’s so spontaneous. In case you didn’t notice everything above mentioned some sort of spur of the moment gift or activity, etc. She doesn’t let life hold her down, she goes for what she really wants, and that’s something I really admire about her.
