Snow Canyon Engagement Session in St. George, Utah

This engagement session is extra close to my heart because Lacey isn’t just any bride, she’s my sister. Technically sister-in-law, but we’ve dropped the “in-law” a long time ago. So when she asked me to photograph her engagement to Taylor, I couldn’t have been more honored.

We made a whole weekend out of their session and traveled to Snow Canyon in St. George, Utah, to take in the incredible red and white rock scenery. The landscapes were absolutely stunning, but what made the trip even more special was getting to experience their world. Lacey and Taylor showed us around town, shared their favorite spots, and made it feel like the best summer getaway, complete with paddleboarding, delicious food, and watching 4th of July fireworks from the top of Dixie Rock. It was one of those weekends that makes you stop and soak in just how lucky you are to witness love like this up close.

Lacey and Taylor met through a mutual friend and hit it off instantly. Since then, they’ve been navigating long distance between St. George and Salt Lake, but you’d never guess it when you’re around them. They’re intentional, joyful, and clearly savor every second they get to spend together. We all love Taylor and couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome him into our family.

Their love is genuine and easy, full of laughter and adventure, and I’m counting down the days until we get to celebrate their wedding in Washington, D.C. next month!
