Gilbert Water Tower Engagement Session
The anticipation was palpable as Chelsea and David anxiously waited for their table at Postino on their first date. The hour-long wait only added to their nerves, but guess what? The moment they sat down together, it just felt… right. The nerves melted away, and a natural, effortless connection emerged. Now, a decade later, Postino still holds a special place in their hearts (more on that in a sec).
David’s love for the outdoors has been an integral part of their relationship. Occasionally, he can talk Chelsea into tagging along for a campout or hike. On a magical New Year’s Eve, David shared his desire to take Chelsea on a hike in Sedona. The destination was Devil’s Bridge, a breathtaking natural bridge high above the ground.
Can you picture it? The two of them standing in line, waiting for their turn to walk on this majestic bridge, with raindrops gently sprinkling around them. David couldn’t help but secretly worry about dropping the ring or someone slipping on the wet surface. But hey, everything went off without a hitch! Surrounded by a line of fellow hikers-turned-cheerleaders, David seized the perfect moment to pop the question. And yes, she said “yes!”
Even better, all those kind-hearted people in line were more than willing to snap pictures of the magical moment. Talk about strangers becoming part of their love story! Those photographs will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Ginger, their beloved dog, joined Chelsea and David for their engagement session and we had so much fun documenting this fun stage in Chelsea & David’s lives. To wrap up their session, we headed to the Gilbert water tower and Postino, the site where their love story first began for a few last photos. It was so fun to photograph them in a place that is such a special piece of their story.
Chelsea and David, thank you for letting me share in the fun of your engagement session. It has me so excited to be a part of all the joy, love, and memories to come on your wedding day. I can’t wait!
