Chic Barn Wedding in Mesa, Arizona
Since Holly & Sam didn’t want to see one another until Holly walked down the aisle, the couple decided to share a first touch instead of a first look. They stood facing opposite directions as they held hands and privately read vows to one another. White linen curtains fluttered in the wind all around them, creating a romantic scene that even Rachel McAdams would be jealous of.
That romance was brought from the second you drove up to the venue. Superstition Manor greeted guests with floral arches, custom signage, and flickering candles, setting the mood for the perfect wedding day. The Superstition Mountains were glowing with sunlight – a welcome warmth on this February day.
The couple selected dusty rose and light grey as their color palate with gold accents to tie everything together. My Darling Details knocked the wedding design and styling out of the park with their attention to detail and a lot of fun additions like the cookie/dessert bar and coloring pages for the kids from the couple’s engagement session.
Once guests were seated, Holly walked down the aisle with her father, lush greenery lining their path to Sam, who was beaming from ear to ear. After a short, but sweet ceremony and some of my favorite glowy sunset portraits to date, the party began in the manor’s barn.
Twinkle lights streamed from the rafters and set the tone for a night of fun and dancing. Holly and her dad surprised everyone with an upbeat, choreographed father-daughter dance. The events continued with a scavenger hunt led by the DJ that ended with their personal trainer in bright pink high heels (you gotta scroll down and see the proof!). Everyone loved dancing and celebrating with Holly & Sam before sending them off the right way with a sparkler exit!
Holly & Sam, I think you accomplished exactly what you set out to do – throw an awesome party and have FUN with those you love most. The celebration was such a blast and I loved seeing you both in your element with your friends and family. Thank you for sharing this day with me!
