Lake Pleasant Engagement Session

Kari still remembers the exact day she sent her first message to Kevin on Bumbl. She was sitting at parent teacher conferences and leaned over to ask her friend what she thought of his profile because Kari thought he was so cute. Luckily, she went for it because they hit it off right away and decided to buy a house together 3 months later. Love at first Bumbl!

The pair got engaged right before Christmas. One day while Kari was out for a run, Kevin bought her a red rose. When she came home, he was waiting for her in the entryway with it (a play on The Bachelor, a show they enjoy watching together). She initially thought he was teasing her, since he’s been known to bend down on one knee to tie his shoe, etc., but when she heard the music playing, she knew this was the real deal. Kevin is a self-proclaimed bad secret keeper and had just picked up the ring earlier that day. He said he knew he would blow it if he didn’t propose right away.

For their engagement session, we got to spend some time in the gorgeous hills at Lake Pleasant capturing their dream desert engagement session.
