The history behind the venue

Originally built in 2003, Amara Resort recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation to bring a contemporary “tree lodge aesthetic” to the property.

The Resort is at an elevation of 4,500 feet and just steps away from the eclectic shops, dining, and galleries of uptown Sedona.

Reception & Ceremony Accomodations

Amara has several different event space options for you to choose from.

Oak Creek Courtyard (40 – 55 guests)

Exchange vows with Sedona’s beautiful sculpted Red Rocks as your backdrop. Can also be used as a reception space (imagine how beautiful as the sun is setting!). 

Waterfront (a handful of guests, standing only)

Amara offers the opportunity to get married elopement-style right alongside the iconic Oak Creek. The beautiful setting is intimate, gorgeous and quiet.

Event Rooms (up to 55 guests)

Enjoy fine dining and celebrating with your guests in on of the resort’s modern and elegant event rooms.

Meditation Room 25 to 40 Guests

Vortex Room up to 24 Guests

SaltRock Kitchen Dining Room for small Luncheons or Dinners up to 10 Guests

Sedona Room 40-55 guests

Noteworthy Features

One of the best features of getting married at a resort is accommodations. Amara Resort features 100 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, so the wedding fun doesn’t have to end. Everything you need is in one place!

Amara Resort also provides in-house catering of delicious Southwestern style food from their SaltRock Kitchen. They specialize in fresh, seasonal options.

Fun, personalized activities can also be added to the agenda after dancing, including gathering around the fire pit with marshmallows to stargaze.

Pricing & Collections

The ceremony site fee ranges from $850 – $1000.

The reception site fee begins at $750 during wedding off-season and $1500 during peak season. A food and beverage minimum is also applied.
