Flagstaff Engagement Session
Matthew and Jill met on a blind date… set up by his own father. It all started just over 5 years ago when Mathew’s dad was the teachers assistant in Jill’s classroom for a couple years. He eventually moved to a different classroom and him and that teacher started scheming to set Jill up with his son. Jill’s friend agreed to a blind date on Jill’s behalf and they went to happy hour on a Friday with Matthew and his roommate. The pair hit it off and began dating.
He proposed at a Halloween party that he throws every year with his friends. Jill’s parents were going to happen to be in town, so it was perfect. Once they arrived at the party, Jill remembered she left their drinks in the car, and Matthew encouraged her to get them. When she came back, he was on the patio on one knee. She was shocked, and I love picturing her holding the two McDonalds soda cups in her hands as he asked. Of course she said yes!
Since they are both into craft beer and spending time up north, we combined both for their engagement session. We started off at one of their favorite breweries and finished in the gorgeous Flagstaff pines. It was such a fun session with two amazing people.
