Romantic Modern Brick Wedding

It was a warm December afternoon in Arizona. Colby Falls was buzzing with excitement as one of the last (and greatest) couples of the year were about to see each other for the first time and share their vows with one another. Sam was standing at the top of the aisle in front of a gorgeous flowing fountain when the venue’s modern glass doors opened. Deep red rose petals were sprinkled along the aisle that separated Katie from her soon-to-be husband as she took her father’s arm, he led her to join Sam.

When they locked eyes, a matching smile spread across both of their faces. Finally, they met in front of their families and their friends and joined hands while Pastor Josh began the ceremony. After he shared his words of wisdom and the couple completed a special unity cross, Katie & Sam were pronounced husband and wife and all cheered as they made their way back up the aisle, this time as a married couple.

Once all the formal photos had been taken, including very meaningful ones with the bride’s grandparents who only got to stay through the ceremony, it was time to celebrate this new marriage. The grand ballroom had floor to ceiling windows with elegant maroon and gold accents throughout the space (a little tribute from these ASU alums). Red roses again made a statement, chosen not only because they’re Katie’s favorite, but also because they are a flower connected to love. Katie and Sam made their grand entrance and kicked off the night with their first dance.

The dancing didn’t stop there, though. After dinner, the couple proceeded to dance with their guests all night long. Not only did it make for some epic photos, but it was so clear how excited they were to be married. At the end of the night, they concluded in style, making their grand escape in a beautiful white Challenger.

Katie and Sam, congratulations to you both! It was such a pleasure to be by your side throughout your special day and see what a special connection you share. I am so excited about the magic you made in front of the camera, too, it is so obvious you guys are head over heels for each other. Happy honeymooning!
