A Simply Elegant Wedding Day At Civana Carefree
Jaw-dropping doesn’t even begin to describe how beautiful Kendall looked as she walked out of her suite at CIVANA Carefree to go see her soon-to-be husband for the first time that day. She made her way to a private area where Tore was waiting for her, facing the opposite direction.
Deep breaths, this was it. After a soft tap on his shoulder, he turned to see his bride. Her wedding dress hugged her body perfectly and she clutched her pink bouquet. Tore opened his mouth and the sweetest words poured out as he said, “I can’t believe I waited so long to see you in that dress.”
This wedding is one I couldn’t wait to share all the details of. If I had to choose three words to describe Kendall and Tore’s special day, the obvious choices are elegance, family, and fuuuuun!
The simple elegance of the day was brought through thoughtful details and a beautiful venue I have raved about to anyone who will listen in the weeks since. The location is filled with a million dramatic views of the desert and romantic twinkly-lit reception spaces. The couple added their mauve touches to make it truly their own.
Overall, the day was centered around hosting their closest friends and family members. Their new marriage has some great examples to follow, including her grandparents who have been married over 52 years! The sweet couple also decided to share dances not only with each other and their parents, but they also did a siblings dance to ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me’. It was such a thoughtful tribute to those that had been by their side since the beginning and had everyone smiling ear to ear.
Finally, I mentioned that their day was filled with fun. From the moment I walked into Kendall’s getting ready room, Queen blasting through the speakers, I could tell it was going to be a good day. I looked around the room as bridesmaids were getting their hair and makeup done, taking Jell-O shots and already celebrating the happy couple on their soon to marriage. This was the start of a day filled with so much laughter and joy.
Kendall and Tore, in the prayer that was shared during your ceremony, the officiant said that he hopes your love grows stronger every day, and that is my wish for the two of you as well. I hope you build such a happy and fulfilling life together and you continue to make each other as happy as you did today. Thank you for sharing a piece of that happiness with me.
